This design is inspired by the Rajputana ‘jharokha’ which were beautifully adorned and carved in stone in Rajput Palaces. Some were even embellished with ‘meenakari’ glass work & precious stones. This one here is detailed with clay. It is a handmade air-drying clay which is hand-rolled into thin lines & stuck to the pre-prepared base design & shades. Once dried, the artwork is then secured with varnish & is safe to be hung even without any top protection. It can be easily cleaned with a dry brush or a damp cloth. Any complimenting art can be made to order around it.
